Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?

If you haven’t already, the good news is you can today!

Recite this prayer of salvation below to receive the gift that keeps on giving.

“Lord Jesus, I repent for my sins and I surrender my life to you right now today. Father, wash me clean and make me white as snow. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that he died for my sins on the cross and rose again on the third day. I accept him into my heart and confess from my mouth that he is my Lord and Savior. I decree and declare that I shall not perish but have eternal life through salvation.” In Jesus Christ name, Amen.

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:8-9 NLT.

Where is your Trust?

I want you to you honestly answer this question. Is your complete Trust in God?

For those of you still pondering your answer, it would be wise for me to ask you what Trust is, how it makes you feel, and how it shows up in your life through the actions of other people. Which also includes the trust you have with yourself and how you treat them.

Some of you have mistrust, because the former circumstances, people and environments contributed to the way you’ve felt or how you’re feeling now.  Mistrust can be identified as a “lack of trust; suspicion and to have no confidence in someone or something.” I know that people may have hurt you or let you down and that “blame” also extends onto yourself. Feelings of mistrust can cause you to feel angry, disappointed, grief, avoidance or could cause you to withdraw altogether. I understand that all too well, as I’ve lived through these stages just for God to bring me out to the other side of HIS Truth. God is willing to do that for any of his children and all you need to do is ask and allow him to.

The Bible tells us in Ephesians 1:13 ESV, “In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.” This means that even when your life is moving in an unfamiliar direction, which looks different from what you expected: God is still worthy of your trust, as he’s trustworthy. God wants you to rest in his assurance of the promises he’s made over your life. He is your security, protection and leads you with his own eye. Trust in him is not just about a one time act, but a lifelong commitment of your salvation through the power of the Holy Spirit. God is faithful, even when we’re not. God is dependable, even when we’re not. God is the same, today, yesterday, and forever, despite us changing our minds and turning away.

I want to challenge you to trust in God again. Not just for my sake, but for yours.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV. This is reassurance that God will never steer you in the wrong direction. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6 NLT. This means that HE is the same God that brought you out before. The same God, that came through for you in your time of need when you had no idea how you’d make it out. He’s the same God with you right now, ensuring that all things go according to his plans for your life; even with the trials and tribulations, which he’s told you that he’s overcome through John 16:33.

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.” Jeremiah 17:7 KJV. God wants you to solely rely on him and adhere to the power of his Holy Spirit that dwells within you and that walks with you wherever you go, with all that you are, and who he knows you to be. However, that means that you must surrender all of your desires, so he can protect you and guide you correctly to avoid any feelings of mistrust or the byproducts of betrayal. “Commit thy way unto the LORD; Trust also in him; And he shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:5 KJV. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 KJV. This means that you allow God to be your decision maker, lead and final say, because he knows whats best for you. He sees what you don’t, and will do what you can’t.

Today, I want you to forgive those that created mistrust in you which caused you to have trust issues with God. I want you to know that although he created the people, and he loves them like he loves you, he hates the sin. Repent for what you’ve done. Ask God for forgiveness for contributing to the heart posture that you have now or the limitations of your trust. I want you to release everything to God, and let it go. Invite him into those spaces and give him the permission to begin the transformation process on your life.

Why?

It’s important that mistrust doesn’t become an Idol before God. Bring to him your feelings and SURRENDER them. The rest is his to deal with. You, however, are responsible for not being separated from that which, you’re already connected to, which is God, Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, because you gave him your YES.

I pray that today you begin again, but this time with God. I pray that he invites you into his presence to show you what Trust is. I ask God to decrease the volume of every sound thats contributed to how you feel so that you can be released to move forward to experience purpose. I ask God to remove any hardness in your heart, bitterness, or hesitations from allowing him to draw you closer; and to ground you so that you’re rooted in his trust as your anchor. May his peace be still and calm your heart. May his protective covering give you security. May his truth be stored deep inside you so that his words are the only narration of your journey. More importantly, may every door that he didn’t open, be closed and sealed off now so that you walk into the ones he did open. I ask the power of the Holy Spirit to give you divine insight, wisdom and reveal the answers to things that have been mysteries before. May you be set free from all of the places that mistrust tried to imprison you. Lastly, that you’re now open to those that deserve your trust, love and commitment because God sent them into your life and for good reason. That you accept what he gives, that you willingly receive, and that what he takes; you no longer question. May your Trust in the lord be visibly heard, seen and felt, and your confidence in him be greatly rewarded. In Jesus name, Amen

My Brothers and Sisters, will you trust in the LORD with all your heart, mind, body and soul?
