Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?

If you haven’t already, the good news is you can today!

Recite this prayer of salvation below to receive the gift that keeps on giving.

“Lord Jesus, I repent for my sins and I surrender my life to you right now today. Father, wash me clean and make me white as snow. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that he died for my sins on the cross and rose again on the third day. I accept him into my heart and confess from my mouth that he is my Lord and Savior. I decree and declare that I shall not perish but have eternal life through salvation.” In Jesus Christ name, Amen.

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:8-9 NLT.

God Wants to Save You!

Do you know what it means to be saved?

The word saved, itself, is the past tense action of the word save, which means to: keep safe or rescue (someone or something) from harm or danger. The definition of the word itself is exactly what Jesus Christ did for you and me. However, thats not the only thing he did for us. Jesus also took on our sins, reconciled us to God, granted us healing, established a new covenant, and secured our victory through eternal life.

Prior to this revelation, were you aware of all that Jesus Christ has done for you?

Most importantly, did you know that, God loves his creation (you and me) so much that he sent his only son to die so that we wouldn’t perish but have eternal life? The truth is evident in John 3:16.

Many people have imparted judgements on God, which doesn’t accurately display his true character or feelings toward us. I can admit that at one time, I was one of those people, too. Most of our judgement or questions, that we express about God, has come from a place of grief, frustration, loss, or our failure to trust in the plans he has for our lives. As human beings, we’ve all had our fair share of trials and tribulations that have fueled our narration toward the rejection of God. In John 16:33 NLT, God is speaking to us about this truth when he said, “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

Lets be honest as this is a safe space— How many times have you found yourself angry, doubting, questioning or wanting to reject God from the pain, heartache, loss, frustration or abandonment you experienced?

Well, guess what?

God has witnessed all of those things from us as his own creation. The difference between us and God is that, he proclaimed, “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels or demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow- not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below- indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed to us in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 NLT.

With that being said, God has given us many chances to receive his love and accept Salvation through Christ Jesus. You need to understand that, Jesus is the only way for us to receive salvation and right now today he’s knocking on the door to your heart. However, the choice is still yours.

Will you let him enter?

Now think about your answer to my previous question. More importantly, what would you do or how would you feel if God rejected you today based on his feelings, thoughts or due to the circumstances that he witnessed from you toward him?

How would that feel to be rejected because of your sins?

To be honest, thats a place you’d never be able to come back from as it would keep you eternally separated from him. The truth is, this will be the fate of every person that loves God, says they believe in him, but, rejects Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. The reality is God can still love you and allow you to perish and it doesn’t make him less than, it makes him truthful to his word and what he requires from us. God is not a respecter of persons. God will do what he said he’d do. His word will not return to him void. He wont lie.

Hear the word of God which states, “And anyone who believes in God’s son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgement. John 3:36 NLT.

I know when you hear the word “angry” you may identify that as a “feeling” from God that justifies your feelings of “rejection” toward him as many people would try to validate their feelings with why they’re doing things and living the life they’re living. (SIN)

All feelings aside, Jesus desires for you to be saved. It’s important so that we can have an eternal life with God. I, personally, would never want to experience a life separated from him eternally, especially after experiencing what it felt like to be physically separated from him while being here on Earth.

Have you truly thought about this?

In John 14:6 ESV, Jesus said to him, ” I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

The Father, that Jesus was referring to in this scripture is God. As Sinners and Unbelievers we are spiritually and relationally cut off from God. The Bible tells us that, “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.” John 3:18 NKJV.

God hates our sins, but he loves us. That’s why he offered us a way of escape from the death that would’ve be our punishment with Salvation through Jesus Christ. However he’s given us free will to choose. God wants to spend eternity with you, but first you must repent of your sins, turn away from them and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Remember, your way to God can only be established through His Son. Gods word is nonnegotiable.

In this season, your choices are imminent. Considering all truths and feelings aside, what will you decide?
